During the fall of 2019 we spent a month at SÍM Residency in Reykjavík, Iceland. WE WERE HERE – part one is the visual outcome of our artistic research, intended to be developed further into an art installation.
Capturing fragments of Iceland. Touching, listening, collecting, documenting. Is it possible to experience something without consuming it? Closer, we always want to come closer, on the other side of the barrier. To explore, to examine. To exploit?
